SPECIAL FORCES

Special forces are used to carry out operations using special tactics, equipment, and means. Special forces are distinguished by a high level of special staff training and are used to perform the most difficult tasks, often associated with a threat to life. Among such tasks, there are:

• Intelligence and sabotage activities;
• Counter-terrorist activities;
• Hostages rescue;
• Protection of VIPs and objects;
• Assault operations.

The use of special personal protective equipment (bulletproof vests, helmets, armored shields, etc.) allows to reduce the risk of injury and death to special forces soldiers. Special equipment is designed taking into account the increased risk (they have an increased protection area), does not limit mobility, and is effective in various force actions.
